Can I decorate the studio?
Yes! Decorations are encouraged to match your party theme. Just be sure to use the low-adhesive tape provided by our staff to protect the space.
What sizes are the tables?
What’s included in the session?
- Professional Support: A qualified mix technician and coordinator to guide your session.
- Access to Amenities: Use of our kitchenette (with a fridge and freezer), tables, chairs, and two party rooms.
- Recording Experience: Rehearsal, sound check, and a professionally mixed final recording of your selected songs.
- Backstage Pass Keepsake: Guests design their own lanyards, which are laminated as special souvenirs.
- Digital Recording: Each guest receives a digital download of the final recording.
Before Your Party
To make sure everything is set for an unforgettable event, we’ll need the following details one week before your party date:
- Approximate number of children participating in the recording.
- Name of the birthday star hosting the party.
- Your song choice (1 group song + 1 solo for the birthday child). You can browse available options at https://www.karaoke-version.com/.
- Average ages of the children attending.
On Party Day:
Arrival & Setup:
- You’ll have access to the studio 10–15 minutes before your scheduled start time to set up and decorate.
- Decorations are welcome! Please use the low-adhesive painter’s tape provided to hang items on the walls.
Rehearsal & Recording (80–90 minutes):
- The kids will rehearse, complete a sound check, and record their group song in small groups of 2-3 at a time.
- The birthday child will also record a special solo track!
- In between recordings, the kids will design their own backstage pass lanyards while enjoying any food that’s been set up.
- The lanyards are laminated at the end of the session and serve as keepsakes, complete with a unique download code so everyone can listen to their recording.
- Once the recording is finished and the staff begins mixing, it’s the perfect time for birthday cake and additional celebrations.
- The session concludes with the group’s recording played on the lounge speakers for everyone to enjoy.
Food & Drinks:
- Snacks like pizza or veggie platters are welcome.
- Food and drinks must remain in the front party room.
- Prohibited items: popcorn, gum, candy, and feather boas.
- We recommend scheduling pizza delivery about 15 minutes after the session begins to give the kids time to settle into the recording process.
